Black Friday & Cyber Monday - Nails

Il periodo tanto atteso dell'anno è finalmente arrivato. Sto parlando del Black Friday (e Cyber Monday) ovvero il giorno successivo al Giorno del Ringraziamento, che dà il via allo shopping natalizio. In questo giorno infatti c'è la corsa ai regali, grazie ai super sconti che ci fanno risparmiare sui nostri numerosi presenti natalizi.
Nata negli Stati Uniti, questa iniziativa si sta piano piano diffondendo anche nel continente Europeo. Inizialmente il Black Friday era rivolto solo ai negozi fisici, ma, nonostante sia stato creato il Cyber Monday (stesso concetto del Black Friday rivolto però all'e-commerce), molti negozi online aderiscono ugualmente al Black Friday proponendoci offerte e sconti fino al lunedì successivo.

In questo post ho raccolto molte offerte del Black Friday e del Cyber Monday dedicate esclusivamente al mondo unghie, ovvero smalti, nail vinyl, semipermanenti, smalti indie, stamping plate, polveri e molto altro, in modo da creare una sorta di guida agli sconti per questi Black Friday e Cyber Monday 2016.

The time of the year we've all been waiting for is finally here. I'm talking about Black Friday (and Cyber Monday) which is the day after Thanksgiving and which marks the beginning of Christmas shopping. On this day many people buy their Christmas presents, thanks to the great discounts that let them save a lot of money on the numerous gifts they have to shop for.
Born in the US, these initiative is slowly spreading throughout Europe as well. At the beginning, Black Friday was something regarding physical stores only, but, even though Cyber Monday was created (the idea is the same of Black Friday but for online stores), many e-shops still join Black Friday sales with offers and discounts until the following Monday.

 In this post I've gathered many Black Friday and Cyber Monday offers exclusively dedicated to the nail world, such as nail polishes, nail vinyls, gel polishes, indie brands, stamping plates, powders and a lot more. In this way, I created kind of a guide to Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2016 sales.

SmaltoPedia 4

Pensavate che fossimo sparite per sempre? E invece no, eccoci di nuovo qui, con il nostro (e speriamo anche il vostro) appuntamento autunnale preferito: la SmaltoPedia 4! Anche quest'anno c'è una piccola novità rispetto alle scorse edizioni. Volete sapere di cosa si tratta? Continuate a leggere ;)

 CHE COS'E'?

 Per chi non conoscesse questa collaborazione, la SmaltoPedia altro non è che un invito a creare nail art prendendo ispirazione da lavori trovati qua e là sul web (citandone ovviamente la fonte, su qualunque social decidiate di caricarla).
La nail art si può ricreare uguale uguale, oppure la si può personalizzare secondo il proprio gusto e stile personale, cercando comunque di mantenere un filo conduttore con l'originale.

WHAT IS IT?

For those of you who have no idea of what SmaltoPedia* is, it is nothing but a way to be inspired by other artists' works (obviously giving them proper credit on any social media you decide putting your recreation on). You can reproduce the nail art of the week exactly like the original one or, instead, add your own twist to it.
*["smalto" in Italian means "nail polish"]

QUANDO E COME?

Come al solito, ci terremo compagnia per 12 settimane! ;) Si pubblica il giovedì alle 21.00!

 La SmaltoPedia è aperta a tutte, esperte e non del settore unghie! Non è una sfida, ma un modo per metterci in gioco confrontandoci con alcune delle nail artist più famose del web... e non solo (ricordate la novità accennata all'inizio?)
Siete assolutamente libere di gestire la "challenge" come volete: potete partecipare tutte le settimane oppure realizzare solo alcune delle 12 nail art.

 Anche quest’anno la SmaltoPedia si svolgerà principalmente su tre canali (potete scegliere di pubblicare su uno solo, su due o su tutti e tre):

 -Blog: basterà scrivere un post in cui mostrate la nail art di ispirazione e una foto della vostra personale versione, indicando magari anche i prodotti usati o raccontando l’esperienza vissuta durante la realizzazione... insomma, quello che volete, siete assolutamente libere!

 -Facebook: l’ora e il giorno non cambiano. Se volete potete inserire la foto in un collage con l'originale a cui vi  ispirate! Inserite l’hashtag #Smaltopedia4 nella descrizione della foto, così sarà più facile per tutti curiosare tra i vari lavori

 -Instagram: per quanto riguarda questo social di portata internazionale, l'hashtag è sempre lo stesso ( #smaltopedia4) e sono quelli di sempre anche i nostri profili : @lu_letsplayanailgame, @giulienailart, @mitikalina, @00franails

 Quando si inizia? Giovedì 6 Ottobre alle ore 21:00! Non mancate, mi raccomando ;)

 Ma veniamo al pezzo forte. Quali sono le nail art da ricreare? Eccole tutte quante! Si parte dalla prima in alto a sinistra e si procede in senso orario (occhio alle caselle con i loghi, nascondono una sorpresa speciale)


WHEN AND HOW?

Once again, we'll be together for 12 weeks, with 12 different nail arts to be inspired by ;) 

We will publish every Thursday at 9 pm (UTC+2.00), but don't worry... You can really post at any time you want if, due to time zone, you can't do it on schedule. The only important thing we ask you is to share your recreation on Thursday.

SmaltoPedia is open to everyone, both beginners and pros! Don't worry, it's not a real challenge, just an occasion to get out of your comfort zone, have fun and meet new people while recreating some of the most famous nail artists' designs (and not only theirs... remember the news we mentioned in the beginning?)
You can decide to participate every week or to recreate only some of the nail arts!

We will be posting mainly on three platforms (you can use only your favorite one, two or all three of them):

-Blog: you will need to show both the inspirational nail art and your recreation and maybe add a few words about the products you used and/or your personal experience with the creating process... in other words, feel free to write whatever you want!

-Facebook: same day and time. You can post a collage of original mani and recreation. Use the hashtag #SmaltoPedia4 in the caption, so it will be easier for everyone to take a look at all the nail arts!

-Instagram: same as the previous platform. Post your picture, credit the owner, add #smaltopedia4 hashtag and you're done. It would be much appreciated if you could tag us too in the picture! (@lu_letsplayanailgame, @giulienailart, @mitikalina, @00franails)

Salve gente di ritorno da Bologna vi faccio subito vedere il mio haul del Cosmoprof. 
Anche quest'anno ero da Color Club e anche quest'anno la fiera l'ho girata ben poco ma udite, udite sono riuscita ad uscire dal padiglione 36 :D Cercherò di mettervi tante foto degli stand in fondo al post perchè lo so che non vedete l'ora di vedere il mio bottino :P

Finalmente siamo tornate con un'edizione tutta nuova della SmaltoPedia! Quest'anno la novità è che 8 delle nail art le avete scelte voi ;)

We're finally back with a whole new edition of SmaltoPedia! This year we wanted to make it a bit different. That's why 8 of the nail arts were picked by you guys ;)

Effe nail collection

Pop Art nail art & transformation

Salve gente. In questo post vi faccio vedere un nail art moooolto semplice, vista e rivista moltissime volte, sembra quasi banale se non fosse che mi sono cimentata anche in una "trasformazione". Di cosa parlo?
Vi spiego subito.

Da molto tempo girano sul web make up bellissimi di ragazze che si truccano prendendo ispirazione dalle opere di Roy Lichtestein, uno dei principali esponenti della Pop Art, così ho pensato di creare la nail art e abbinarla a un "make up" non sul viso ma sulle mani ovviamente.

Preview - Essence "Hello, Foils"

Ehilà :) Torno sul blog per parlarvi delle mie prime impressioni sui foil appena usciti nella collezione permanente di Essence.
 
Visti i vari "Fail" della Essence in fatto di accessori di nail art avevo deciso di non prenderli ma ieri dopo averli visti esposti non sono riuscita a resistere a quel vortice di colori e ho ceduto e ho preso lo 01 "Hello,flashy!".

After the great enthusiasm for the first edition, SmaltoPedia is finally back, in a new 2.0 version! For those of you who have no idea of what SmaltoPedia is, it is nothing but a way to be inspired by other artists' work (obviously giving them proper credit). You can reproduce the nail art of the week exactly like the original one or, instead, add your own twist to it.

 WHEN AND HOW?

 We'll be together for a total of 12 weeks, with 12 different nail arts to be inspired by. The last episode is just one week before Christmas! ;) 
We will publish every Thursday at 9 pm (UTC+1.00), but don't worry... You can really post at any time you want if, due to time zone, you can't do it on schedule. The only important thing we ask you is to share your recreation on Thursday.

Come fare le unghie a mandorla?

Hola belle donne, sono tornata e finalmente ho avuto l'occasione di scrivere questo post super richiesto sulla mia pagina Facebook (qui)!
La domanda che mi perseguita da mesi è: "Come fai le unghie a mandorla?"
In realtà è molto semplice, sta tutto nella limatura ma molte di voi dicono di non riuscirci. Quindi vi beccate questo post in cui spero di farvi capire qualcosa e rendervi il lavoro più semplice.

Decoro in 3D Bornprettystore + Nail art

Ehilà! Riemergo dai libri per parlarvi di questo bellissimo "brillocco" preso sul sito Bornprettystore:)
E' un decoro 3D intrecciato da utilizzare come "copri unghie" e si può trovare qui.

L'accessorio è senza dubbio vistoso ma se portato con un bel nude rosato risulta anche molto elegante. Sul sito si possono trovare varie forme e colori, la lunghezza sia aggira tra i 15 e i 17 mm quindi c'è bisogno di unghie medio/lunghe per indossarlo altrimenti non fa la sua figura; nel pacchettino trovate 2 pezzi in modo da realizzare un accent luminosa su entrambe le mani. 
Io ho lasciato da parte la sobrietà e l'ho abbinato a un corallo matt con tanto di nail art e strass sui toni dell'argento.
